A venue like the Schaap Center is beneficial to the community for a number of reasons. The most important being recognition of the arts ability to harness the healing power within each of us and help bring us into community with one another. The Schaap Center will be a place to perform, share, learn, work, and appreciate collectively, while serving as an anchor in Jefferson Avenue’s flourishing cultural corridor dedicated to community, accessibility, inclusion, and artistic excellence.
