Talking Headstones
An educational outreach activity from both Grosse Pointe Theatre and the Grosse Pointe Historical Society, Talking Headstones features an original production written by a group of playwrights and performed on a stage erected inside St. Paul Cemetery (corner of Moross and Country Club Lane in Grosse Pointe Farms, MI). Lit only by torchlight, this historically based drama features residents or incidents from Grosse Pointe’s past. Photos from the 2010 production are below. Writing for the 2011 production begins in May. Interested persons should contact 2010 Education Chair, Harry Burkey: gpteducation@aol.com.
